The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter # 630 Took ovet the project in 1995 and called it
"Veterans Park". With sales of tiles to veterans and their families at $30.00 each the expansion began.

As you turn left at the wall you walk down the first isle of honor. Here are listed
Veterans mostly of Vietnam War.This isle of honor leads to the Vietnam Memorial.
At the end of the isle of honor is the Vietnam War Memorial. Here are listed the
names of Terrebonne Parish Residents who were killed in action during Vietnam War
KIA - Vietnam, Terrebonne Parish

The ships bell which is rang at ceremonies and everyone who visits
the park is encouraged to ring as they pass. This is to honor the fallen Veterans.
As you turn right at the wall you walk down the isle of honor. Here are listed Veterans
mostly of WWI, WWII and Korea. This isle of honor leads to the WW Memorial.
At the end of the isle of honor is the WWI, WWII and Korean Memorial. Here are listed
the names of Terrebonne Parish Residents who were killed in action during these wars.
